Well, I hope this is true that a Korean pop group’s album will soon be released in the Philippines through Universal Records. It is time for Korean artists and groups to invade the Philippines because they have a market there.
Some Koreans too are staying in the Philippines and doing some business. I remember going to Malate and I saw this store where they sell Korean goods especially cup noodles like the ones shown on soaps/dramas, and I can’t understand what was written on it save for the pictures.
If this is true, the album will probably be released on September and there’s a possibility that soon –the Suju will visit the Philippines…
I hope the album will put some English subtitles for Filipinos who can’t understand Korean.
I wrote this on my other site last Oct 23, ’08 10:41 AM as a Michael Jackson fan. The message is a little bit of emotional, I think…
Never did I thought that something strange would happen to him and that he would die…I was one of those who were sad when he passed away… I decided to repost here this little letter of mine…
To all haters of Michael Jackson—- get yourself a garbage bag and zip yourself in because no matter what you say against Michael, undeniably nobody can beat what he has done for the music industry. He is the ultimate genius. He defined what MTV is (because of his revolutionary Thriller video)! I think it should be name as Michael Jackson Television.
It has been his glorious years— during the 80’s and 90’s, but sadly with what has been happening and what has happened against him, truly I am sad. He influences most of the artists today with his music, dance moves, clothes and just about him– Michael’s charm. Girls passed out during his concerts. Everybody screaming all over the concert areas! The energy is always high. Thriller, Billie Jean, Bad, Beat it, Black or White and Heal the World are just some of his greatest hits that will always be on the music history for their greatness.
But, with his look now, his nose and his facial structure has terribly gone bad, I pity him. If I have the power in my hands, I will undo with what has happened with his body. His vitiligo disease, which have caused his skin patches that in turn made him to make his skin white in order to hide ’em, has destroyed our old Michael. But still, has his vitiligo really destroyed his nose that it took him to make those surgeries? He could have hired great surgeons to make the nose real pretty. Those child molestation cases, I think it is just for money. I don’t think Michael did it (this is my opinion, so you Michael haters and fags, leave him alone!)
Michael you are still the King of Pop! Your greatness will live forever.
I registered on Facebook before because it was the “in thing.” There’s even a parody about facebook on movies…I was able to see some friends but they were the same friends I had on my other social networking site. But, the good thing is, there’s a lot of what Facebook can offer. And that is the free online games…
I was bedazzled when I saw some posts of my friends fighting some vampires, farming, getting bounty on mafia, being a pirate and a lot more…So I joined the club and played the games too…
Vampire wars was the first game I played on Facebook. On my own I learned how it works by researching strategies. I even joined groups and add some users whom I really don’t know just to get my clan growing and be able to withstand the other vampires attacking me…At first it was fun, getting bounties, killing vampires with one attack only. But some users tend to be very personal, and they will just hitlist those who took the bounty laid on them. There were times that I had headache when playing it instead of me having a fun time.
But, it did not stop me from playing. Everyday, I tried to improve my skills and increase my ratings…So while playing vampire wars, a friend of mine told me to play Farm Town too…and boy I was addicted to it easily. It’s very different to vampire wars because it is more of a laid back game…plowing, planting, harvesting, and visiting other farmers and the market. And you can even start your own farm from scratch…I learned too that some other celebrities played farm town.
It did not stop me from playing other games–like the Pirates, castle thing and a lot more…Then I was hooked again with a new game–the Mafia Wars…
Mafia Wars is like Vampire Wars (since they were made by Zynga)…It hurts too when you are being attacked and killed, punched and robbed…But this game, puts you on a role playing that you can be a boss or a mafia even just on the net…
Most of the time, these games have always took my time…That even when I’m sick, I try to harvest my fruits/vegetables in order for them not to be wasted…Or too see how much I earn…or who attacked me again… If I’ll rank the games that I really liked and played –Farm Town would be first, Vampire Wars second, third is Mafia Wars and fourth the Pirates…I don’t play other than these four on facebook right now…
They have the pros and the cons… It’s up to the players how to handle the pressure of this online games… They are just games…so let’s just play the games…
With the superjunior fever crawling in my veins, I stumbled upon a Japanese version of Sorry Sorry. Since I’m not a Korean or Japanese speaker, at first I’ d say the songs are lyrically similar, but they are not…although at first the japanese words in the japanese version sound like the korean lyrics, or maybe I’ve heard too much of the k-version. Needless to say both versions are great but I love the Korean version more.
I really like the part of Donghae (or I’m just a Donghae fanatic? 🙂 ). And again, Eunhyuk’s got great suave moods. I’m such a sucker for guys who can dance and sing…I like Hangeng’s dance moves too…
Shindong can dance too despite his big size…Kangin needs to shape up, he looks like a twin of Shindong ;).
I’ve seen Ki Bum 3 or 4 times in their video and he does not have a solo part on the song 😦 ; unlike Kyuhyun who is always on cam…and yes, Kyuhyun he got a great voice…
The first time I saw Yesung, he looks like Lee Joon Ki of My Girl, and now he has a new haircut.
Suju’s song is such a hit in the Philippine that even the CPDRC Dancing Inmates (Cebu, Philippines) also danced to this song as part of their exercise and rehabilitation…They were first known when they danced to the King of Pop’s Thriller which made them one of the internet’s sensation.

Sandy, the pambansang krung-krung ng Pilipinas, a member of the girl pop korean group visited the Philippines yesterday, August 13, 2009 and she had chosen the Phillippines for her short rest from her busy career…
When she arrived, media flocked to her and congratulated her on her success in her native land–Korea…Sandy or DARA now in the K-world won second in the Star Circle Quest, a defunked ABS-CBN talent show in the Philippines. Hero Angeles bagged the title as the winner, but later on they were formed as a loveteam in the Philippine showbiz and they were a success. But unluckily things get sour between their personal and showbiz life that’s why their career went down.
I’m just glad that Sandy has found success now in Korea and Hero is already starting to act again but in GMA, the rival network of ABS-CBN.
When Sandy arrived, I thought she’s gonna rest but Sandy with her bubbly and sweet personality which endeared to a lot of Filipinos, even when she doesn’t have a droplet of blood of a Filipino, guested on the morning show Ruffa and Ai. Sandy performed a little bit of their sonG fIRE… “eh eh eh eh eh, twenty one” while dancing…
I wish she will visit again with her group, and maybe this will pave the way for some korean pop artists to visit the Philippines…
